Healthy food choices are shaped long before people decide what to eat. In Bogotá, researchers looked beyond individual behaviour to understand how neighbourhoods influence food access. By exploring four communities, the study revealed how mobility, public spaces and the everyday experience of buying food shape what people eat, offering practical insights into creating healthier food environments.
